How to update your profile details!

For Businesses

What You Can Update:

  • Contact email
  • Business information
  • Team member details
  • Pickup location addresses

Portal Settings:

  1. Log into portal.shaloz.com
  2. Click "Settings"
  3. Update desired fields
  4. Save changes

Cannot Change:

  • Phone number (contact support)
  • Business ID
  • Account creation date

For Drivers

What You Can Update:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Profile photo
  • Vehicle information
  • Payment methods

In App:

  1. Menu → Profile
  2. Tap "Edit"
  3. Change fields
  4. Save

Cannot Change:

  • Phone number (contact support)
  • Date of birth
  • Account ID

Updating Email

Why Update:

  • Receive notifications
  • Account communications
  • Receipts and confirmations

How:

  1. Profile/Settings
  2. Email field
  3. Enter new email
  4. Save
  5. May need to verify new email

Changing Phone Number

Special Process:

  • Cannot change in app/portal
  • Contact help.shaloz.com
  • Verification required
  • Security measure

Why Restricted:

  • Phone is your login
  • Security risk if easy to change
  • Requires identity verification

Updating Payment Info

Businesses:

  • Settings → Payment Methods
  • Add/remove credit cards
  • Update card details

Drivers:

  • Settings → Payment Methods
  • Add/remove bank accounts/debit cards
  • Set primary method

Profile Photo (Drivers)

Update Photo:

  1. Tap profile photo
  2. "Take Photo" or "Choose from Library"
  3. Crop if needed
  4. Save

  • Professional appearance

  • Clear photo

Vehicle Information (Drivers)

Update Vehicles:

  1. Settings → Vehicles
  2. Add new or edit existing
  3. Change license plate, type, state
  4. Save

Troubleshooting

Problem: Changes Not Saving

Fixes:

  • Click "Save" button

Problem: Can't Update Certain Fields

Cause: Some fields locked for security

Examples:

  • Phone number
  • Account ID
  • Date of birth (drivers)
  • Business ID
