Becoming a Shaloz Driver - Signup Process

Join the Shaloz driver network in just a few steps!

Android: Google Play → Search "Shaloz Driver" → Install

Step 1: Phone Verification

1. Open Shaloz Driver app
2. Tap "Sign Up"
3. Enter your phone number
4. Receive SMS code
5. Enter code to verify
6. Phone verified!

Step 2: Personal Information

What You'll Enter:

• First name
• Last name
• Email address
• Date of birth (must be 18+)

Why We Need This:

• Legal requirements
• Payment processing
• Account security
• Communication

Step 3: Address Information

Enter Your Address:

• Street address
• City, State, ZIP code
• Must be US address

Why: Required for background check and tax documentation

Step 4: Identity Verification

Three Photos Needed:

Driver's License Front:

• Take clear photo of license front
• All text must be readable
• No glare or blur
• Whole license visible

Driver's License Back:

• Photo of license back
• Barcode clearly visible
• System scans barcode automatically

Selfie Photo:

• Take current selfie
• Good lighting
• Face clearly visible
• Matches license photo

Tips:

• Use good lighting
• Hold phone steady
• Remove sunglasses/hat
• Retake if blurry

Step 5: Tax Information

SSN (Last 4 Digits):

• Enter last 4 digits of Social Security Number
• Required for tax reporting (you'll receive 1099)
• Secure and encrypted

Step 6: Payment Setup

How You'll Get Paid:

Option 1: Bank Account (Recommended)

• Routing number (9 digits)
• Account number
• Free transfers
• Takes 1-3 business days

Option 2: Debit Card

• Card number, expiry, CVV
• Instant payouts
• Small fee applies
• Money arrives in minutes

Can Add Both:

• Use bank for regular payouts
• Use debit card for instant cash-outs

Verification & Approval

After Submitting:

What Happens:

1. Documents reviewed by Shaloz team
2. Background check conducted
3. Driving record checked
4. Account approved or needs corrections

How Long:

• Usually 1-3 business days
• Could be faster
• Email notification when approved

Account Review Screen:

Shows status of each step:

• Personal information verified
• Address verified
• ID verification in progress
• Background check pending
• Payment setup verified

While Waiting:

• App shows "Account Under Review"
• Can't go online yet
• Check email for updates
• Be patient!

Approval Email

When Approved:

• Email: "Welcome to Shaloz!"
• Can now go online
• Start accepting deliveries
• Begin earning!

If Issues:

• Email explains what's needed
• Resubmit documents
• Contact help.shaloz.com

First Vehicle Setup

Before Going Online:

• Add vehicle information
• License plate number
• State of registration
• Vehicle type (Sedan, SUV, Van, etc.)

Troubleshooting Signup

Problem: SMS Code Not Arriving

• Check phone number correct
• Wait 60 seconds
• Tap "Resend Code"
• Check signal strength

Problem: License Photo Rejected

• Too blurry - retake with steady hand
• Glare - avoid overhead lights
• Cropped - show entire license
• Expired - renew license first

Problem: Background Check Delayed

• Usually 1-3 days
• Check email for requests
• Contact help.shaloz.com after 5 days
