How Pricing Works

Rate Calculation:

Delivery cost is calculated based on:

1. Distance - Miles from pickup location to drop-off address
2. Base Delivery Fee - Starting rate for all deliveries
3. Per-Mile Rate - Cost per mile driven
4. Taxes - Applicable local/state taxes

Formula:

Total Cost = Base Fee + (Miles × Per-Mile Rate) + Taxes

Real-Time Rates:

• Rates are calculated in real-time at checkout
• No guessing or estimates
• Exact cost shown before customer completes purchase

No Subscription Fees

• No monthly charges

Cost Per Delivery:

• Typical range: $8 - $25 per delivery
• Depends on distance
• Rates shown in Business Portal rate calculator

Payment Structure:

• Payment authorized when delivery is created
• Charge captured when delivery is completed
• If delivery is cancelled, authorization is released (no charge)

For Drivers (Earnings)

How Much Drivers Earn:

• Drivers receive 100% of the delivery cost paid by the customer
• Short distance trips can cost $15 or more
• Earnings shown before accepting route

Payment to Drivers:

• Drivers get paid the full delivery cost when the customer pays
• Earnings credited instantly upon delivery completion
• No waiting for weekly payouts
• Cash out anytime (minimum $5.00)
• No fees for standard bank transfer
• Small fee for instant debit card cash-out (industry standard)

Note: Businesses pay a separate $2 fee to Shaloz for each delivery. This does not affect driver earnings.
