The Complete Process

Shaloz makes local delivery simple through an automated workflow that connects businesses, drivers, and customers.

Step-by-Step Process:

1. Business Creates Delivery Request

Businesses can create deliveries in three ways:

• WooCommerce Plugin - Orders automatically sync when customer checks out
• Business Portal - Manually enter customer details and package info
• Bulk Upload - Upload CSV file with multiple orders at once

2. System Calculates Rate

The Shaloz system:

• Identifies the nearest pickup location to the customer
• Calculates distance in miles
• Determines delivery fee based on distance
• Returns real-time rate to business or customer

3. Payment Authorization

For WooCommerce:

• Customer pays shipping cost at checkout
• Payment is included in order total

For Portal Orders:

• Business pays for delivery via saved payment method
• Payment is authorized (not charged yet)

4. Driver Assignment

The system automatically:

• Notifies nearby available drivers
• Drivers see pickup/drop-off locations and earnings
• First driver to accept gets the route
• Multiple packages can be grouped into one route

5. Package Pickup

Driver:

• Navigates to pickup location (business/pickup location)
• Marks "I've Arrived" in the app
• Enters verification code from business
• Confirms pickup in the app
• Status updates to "En Route to Drop-off"

6. Package Delivery

Driver:

• Navigates to customer address
• Marks "I've Arrived" at customer location
• Hands package to customer or leaves in safe place
• Takes photo proof of delivery
• Marks delivery complete in app

7. Payment Capture

When delivery is completed:

• Payment authorization is captured (charged)
• Driver earnings are instantly added to driver's balance
• Business receives confirmation
• Customer gets delivery notification

8. Real-Time Tracking

Throughout the process:

• Businesses see live driver location in portal
• Customers receive status update emails
• Notifications sent at each major milestone
• Everyone stays informed
